Durable flag material suitable for outdoor signage.

Beach flag FR has been manufactured for outdoor signage. It is a strong and durable fabric that has been fire rated.

The knit structure of beach flag FR is designed to provide better force distribution that reduces the risk of the fabric tearing. The pattern of holes in the fabric allows wind to pass through the fabric easily.

Beach flag FR is white and printed using dye sublimation. The pattern of holes and loose weave give the fabric a semi-transparent look when hung. Colour reproduction is strong and colour long lasting.

Outdoor Signage

The requirements for outdoor signage are similar to that for regular signage, which are similar to those of drapery, curtains and other vertically hung textiles.

The following standards apply:

IMO FTP Code 2010 Part 7 Test for vertically supported textiles and films

In addition, you may wish to make sure your fabric is UV resistant and weather resistant, depending on the intended length of use, size and placement.

The material should be able to withstand the elements sufficiently so that its safety is not compromised, e.g. mounting point failure causing the signage to whip around in adverse weather, potentially injuring someone.

The use of metal grommets in the corners and edges of coated fabrics is usually sufficient. Always follow the manufacturer guidelines for the safe use of these products.

Signage

The requirements for signage are similar to that of drapery, curtains and other vertically hung textiles.

You must make sure the fabric has the correct fire safety rating for your end use.

You must also make sure that the signage will be hung and attached correctly.
