The exhibition was held from 20 - 21 July 2024 in the historic Faversham Guildhall and featured work from the schools AMUSF (Association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers) students.

AMUSF is an organisation who offer upholstery accreditation and support for those in the upholstery and soft furnishing industry. Members must pass a number of requirements, including having worked in the industry for 3 years or more.

Alex Law is an experienced master upholsterer who has excelled in the upholstery industry for over 30 years and has written two books on the subject, Quick and Easy Upholstery and The Upholsterer's Step-by-Step Handbook.

Under the experienced and skilled eyes of the School of Upholstery, students flourish and create stunning professionally finished pieces for personal and commercial use.

Seams Random by Caroline won the "Best in Show Stage 2" award with fabric printed by Prinfab and Josie Claughton won the "Best in Show Stage 1" award.

Students were guided to design and digitally print their own custom designs onto fabric and then use this to reupholster their final pieces of furniture. This collaboration between traditional upholstery techniques and cutting-edge digital printing technology combined to make some truly stunning finished pieces.

Velveteen FR was a firm favourite amongst students, with its excellent print quality, luxurious feel and CRIB5 fire rating.
