Green Grads

Supporting emerging talent with an organisation that recognises the challenges faced by the textile industry.

Green Grads is an initiative founded by award winning design journalist Barbara Chandler. It aims to provide a platform to promote work by recent graduates engaging with ecological issues.

Green Grads is a fantastic opportunity for Prinfab to support emerging talent with an organisation that recognises the environmental challenges faced by the textile industry

Prinfab provided graduates Sarah Thorley, Rebekah Longland and Rhiannon Weaver with printed fabric for the event. The designs were printed on organic optic half panama using an Epson ML-8000 running organic pigment.

The organic optic half panama is a popular fabric in the Prinfab range. It uses GOTS certified cotton to provide a heavy cotton print base. The ink is GOT certified and carries an OEKO-TEX Eco Passport.

Organic optic half panama is an excellent choice for customers seeking a custom printed fabric with minimal environmental impact

An event hosted by Jay Blades from the The Repair Shop was held at the London Design Festival on 25 September 2022 to showcase work by the graduates.

Engaging and supporting young people now helps us to develop a textile print on-demand service that meets consumer demand tomorrow.
