DTF (Direct To Film) Transfer Printing

Prinfab have launched a new DTF (Direct To Film) transfer printing service

DTF printing is a method that prints onto film with water-based inks, which is then coated with an adhesive powder so it can be heat-pressed onto fabric.

Harry Mustoe-Playfair, co-founder of Prinfab explained:

Anyone can create beautifully personalised products in minutes - right at home. From T-shirts and tote bags to hats, shoes and more, you can bring your ideas to life with rich, long-lasting DTF prints. If you can imagine it, you can make it.

Prinfab is offering DTF transfer printing as A4 and 76cm wide continuous metres prints. Co-founder Oliver Mustoe-Playfair said:

Our investment in an extra wide DTF production line from Epson means we can offer competitive per m2 pricing and the exceptional print quality our customers have come to expect.

The inks (NEP 1603) and adhesive (SH150 267687) used in the DTF transfers carry the OEKO-TEX Eco Passport. This means they have been independently checked to ensure they do not contain chemicals that are harmful to human health.

Representative samples have also passed the EN71-3 standard ensuring they are safe to use in products for children carrying the UKCA mark.
