Principles: prices include VAT where applicable; no minimum order; no setup charges; price is the same regardless of design because everything prints in full colour. Volume discounts apply automatically at checkout, on linear metres only, calculated on total metreage per fabric (10m of one design and 10m across ten designs get the same discount). Tiers: 1m (list price), 5m (~5% off), 10m (~7.5% off), 40m+ (~10% off).

Swatches: £2.99 for all fabrics, 3-for-2 (lowest priced free). Fat quarters: £9.99–£18.99 depending on fabric, 3-for-2. DTF A4 sheet: £5.99.

## Ordering & Turnaround

All items are made to order except stock items. Despatch: stock items same working day if ordered by 2pm (otherwise next working day); custom fabric within 3 working days; rush orders 1-day turnaround. Orders placed before midnight qualify for quoted lead times. Large orders may add processing days — a final estimated shipping date is shown on product, cart and checkout pages before ordering. Mixed orders ship together once complete.

Orders are final once placed and start processing quickly. Cancellation may be possible if printing has not started — contact support immediately. Items cannot be added to an existing order; it must be cancelled and re-placed.

How fabric arrives: printed to exact preview size with a small unprinted border which is cut to; a small order-information strip is printed at the top and left attached. Linear metres have unprintable left/right margins (size varies by fabric; the print is centred). Example: 2m on Twill 213gsm arrives as ~150×203cm fabric containing a 140×200cm print, with ~5cm unprinted left/right borders. Do not rely on unprinted space for hems — include cutting/hemming allowance in the artwork. Dimensional accuracy is within 0.1mm at print time, but allow ±2% tolerance for fabric movement, moisture and handling (see https://prinfab.com/tolerances).

Prinfab does not print onto customer-supplied fabric and does not print onto coloured fabric (include background colour in the artwork). Uploaded designs are private, used only to fulfil orders, and saved to the customer's account for reordering.

Free standard UK shipping (1–3 days) on every order, no minimum or weight restrictions. Tracked services via Royal Mail and DHL; international deliveries may be handed to a local carrier for the final leg. Worldwide shipping available — select country at checkout for rates. International orders may incur customs duty and courier admin fees payable by the recipient; unpaid-duty non-delivery is non-refundable.

Roll delivery (UK, 2–3 days) for orders over 1m: under 30kg £40.99; 30–60kg £72.99; 60–90kg £106.99; 90–120kg £137.99; 120–150kg £167.99; 150–180kg £193.99. Rolls may ship as multiple pieces; single-piece requests must be arranged via support. Very long orders may be roll-only.

Packaging is recyclable: packing slips on 100% recycled paper, sample packs in cardboard envelopes, folded fabric in LDPE mailers (30% recycled), rolls on cardboard tubes in LDPE tubing (30% recycled).

## Artwork & File Guidelines

Fabric files: JPG, BMP, GIF, TIF or PNG, up to 200MB, 180 DPI recommended, RGB colour mode, sRGB v4 Preference colour space with embedded ICC profile, flattened with no layers or transparency.

Transfer (DTF) files: TIF or PNG, up to 200MB, 300 DPI recommended, RGB, sRGB, flattened with transparency preserved. If no resolution is detected, the system defaults to 360 DPI.

Colour: printers accept RGB only — CMYK files are converted and can shift unexpectedly; the printing gamut is wider than traditional CMYK. Screen (additive RGB) and print (subtractive ink) differ; bright/fluorescent colours are hardest to reproduce. Always embed an ICC profile and order a sample for colour-critical work. No Pantone Matching System, though on-screen Pantone values generally print well. Natural-fibre fabrics use water-based pigment inks; polyester uses dye-sublimation inks — neither contains harmful substances.

Transparency and white: transparent areas are unprinted. On fabric, white/light areas are unprinted (no white ink) and show the base fabric colour. On DTF transfers, white prints as white ink. Uploads: upload a single repeating tile where possible and let the system repeat it. For oversized files, reduce to 180 DPI as a high-quality JPEG or use LZW-compressed TIF, or use the large-file upload service at https://prinfab.com/largeupload. Previews may look blurry (downsampled) but printing uses the original file. Artwork is not proofed by staff — the preview is exactly what prints; customers must check repeats, borders, sizing and text direction. ## DTF Application Instructions

1. Air the transfers for 24 hours after unpacking. 2. Pre-press the fabric to remove moisture and creases. 3. Position transfer adhesive-side down. 4. Press at 150°C for 10 seconds. 5. Peel the film away. 6. Cover with heat-proof paper. 7. Press again at 150°C for 10 seconds. A home iron or basic heat press works; settings vary by blank and press, so test first.
